Inventory Categories can filter each part number into specific groups which may be useful for reporting, searching and analysis purposes. These categories are then attached to each item. The descriptions for each Category heading can be changed in System Configuration form under the Inventory tab
Steps

| 2. | Select the relevant Category tab and type in the descriptions for each Category. Tick a default for each Category |
| 3. | Save the form when complete |
Attempting to delete a Category that is being used by at least one Part Number will warn 'Cannot delete. Category is in use'. Descriptions can be edited, though it should be done in consultation with your Jiwa Solution Provider.
